Simply Free Checking

If you don’t make 15 or more debit card transactions a month, opt for Simply Free Checking, which offers a low opening balance of only $50.00 and unlimited check writing. This account is eligible for overdraft protection. Members 19 and under or 55 and over never pay any monthly service fee. If you set up direct deposit into your Simply Free Checking and enroll in e-Statements, we will waive our low monthly service fee of $5.00.

Deluxe Checking

If you prefer using your debit card to make payments, you might as well earn dividends in the process. Deluxe Checking earns dividends at 4.25% APY** on the first $3,000.00 of your balance and above-market dividends on the remaining balance. Qualifications to earn 4.25% APY** are:

• Must have a minimum of 15 point-of-sale settlements each month

• Must have direct deposit set up in Deluxe Checking

• Must be enrolled in e-Statements

**APY – Annual Percentage Yield. Bayou Community Deluxe Checking accounts are variable rate accounts. Bayou Community FCU may change the dividend rate for your account as determined by the Credit Union Board of Directors. Dividends are posted and compounded monthly. Minimum balance is $50.00. Applicable fees and conditions could reduce the earnings on your account. If qualifications stated are not met, this account will be charged a $6.00/mo. service fee.

Premier Checking

If you really want to earn the highest dividends and you use your debit card to make purchases and payments, Premier Checking is just right for you. Premier Checking earns dividends at 5.00% APY** on the first $5,000.00 of your balance and above-market dividends on the remaining balance. Qualifications to earn 5.00% APY** are:

• Must have a minimum of 20 point-of-sale settlements each month

• Must have direct deposit set up in Premier Checking

• Must be enrolled in e-Statements

APY – Annual Percentage Yield. Bayou Community Premier Checking accounts are variable rate accounts. Bayou Community FCU may change the dividend rate for your account as determined by the Credit Union Board of Directors. Dividends are posted and compounded monthly. Minimum balance $100.00. Applicable fees and conditions could reduce the earnings on your account. If qualifications stated are not met, this account will be charged an $8.00/mo. service fee.
