We need a short, necessary pause to switch on this powerful new system. Your preparation is key to ensuring a super smooth transition weekend!
Conversion Period
The upgrade will occur from 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2.
Your Quick Prep Checklist (By Friday, Jan 30):
Handle Essential Finances: Please complete all routine financial needs, such as important transfers or deposits, by the end of the day on Friday, January 30, before the temporary digital services pause.
Prep Your Bills: If you have Bill Pay transactions scheduled for the weekend, you must pay them manually beforehand. Scheduled payments will not process during the blackout.
Grab Weekend Cash: Because temporary daily limits apply to ATM withdrawals, we recommend withdrawing any cash you anticipate needing for the weekend ahead of time.
Services Taking a Quick Break
Online Banking and Mobile App: The entire system will be offline.
Bill Pay: This service will be temporarily down. Remember to handle those scheduled payments beforehand!
Branch/In-Person Services: Our physical location will be closed, but our dedicated staff will remain available by phone and email for critical assistance. Call us at (225) 642-8663 or email us at contact@bayoucfcu.com.
Temporary Card Limits: ATM withdrawals are limited to 2 per day, with a maximum of $200 daily. Debit card purchases are limited to 10 transactions per day. All transactions are subject to your available balance.
Exciting Next Steps: Post-Conversion Action
When we go live at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, accessing the new system requires two simple, mandatory steps:
Time to Re-enroll: All members must re-enroll in Online Banking as a brand-new user. Your old login will not work.
New Mobile App: The old app will stop working. You’ll have to download the new Bayou Community FCU Mobile App!
We will send you detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to proceed once the upgrade is completed.
But don’t worry, we will waive any late fees on loan payments made within the conversion window!
